I am an award-winning photojournalist with more than fifteen years of experience capturing the little things that make life beautiful: a drop of rain clinging precariously to a flower, the look that passes between a father and his daughter as he walks her down the aisle, a dog giving his owner a kiss. This is what makes me happy. This is my passion.
My work has been published in Esquire, TIME, BrandWeek, The Chronicle of Higher Education, The Lansing State Journal, The Detroit Free Press, The Detroit News, The Flint Journal, and many more newspapers across the state and country. I have self-published a book called “A Taste of Freedom” with my husband and writer Vincent Delgado, and fellow photographer Jeremy Herliczek, – my partner in in crime when it comes to shooting weddings. But it’s not about where I ‘m published. It’s about doing what I love. Making gorgeous, funny, sad, silly, poignant images that capture the time, the place, the moment, the feeling.
